ArcheAge Chronicles PvP Guide
Updated ·By the AAC Atlas team·How we source data
How does PvP work in ArcheAge Chronicles?
- ~100 players per channel
- Standard = no PvP
- Switch at a Nui Statue (cooldown)
- +10–15% monster EXP in PvP
- No kill rewards yet
Standard vs PvP channels
| Standard channel | PvP channel | |
|---|---|---|
| Can players attack you? | No | Yes — everyone except party and guild |
| Monsters and quests | Same zone, same content | Same zone, same content |
| Monster EXP | Normal | +10–15% (being tuned) |
| How to switch | Nui Statue | Nui Statue (cooldown applies) |
The game places you in a channel. Parties stay together between zones, and you can hop to a friend's channel. Dungeons and some points of interest are instanced for you or your party.
What's coming later
XLGAMES calls these plans, not promises: rankings and trophies after launch, and more structured PvP built around trade — trade runs through PvP channels and guilds fighting over trade posts.
Demo tip
XLGAMES' Global PM says one of the most fun parts of the demo footage was parrying ranged attacks and reflecting them back with a longsword.
